How do headlights become foggy?

The harsh UV rays from our sun deteriorate the protective coating on the lens of the headlight which creates the fogginess you see.
What is the process for taking the fogginess off of my headlight?

We use a combination of fine grit sandpaper to smooth out the surface of the lens and then we use two stages of compound to clear up what is left. As for the protective coating, we replace that with a thick coat of wax so that the fogginess does not repeat itself.
How long does this process take?

This process for both headlights could take anywhere from 30-45 minutes depending on how severe the damage is.
How much does it cost?

The price of the headlight restoration is $80, but if you purchase a complete detail starting at $149 then it will only cost $50 on top of the complete detail. If you are an unlimited member then the service is $50.
