We will also\nconsider covering surface damage that follows the exact pattern of\nour light-touch foam applicators and is visible along the majority of the\nvehicle’s length. Damage that does not correspond to the pattern of\nour foam equipment is not eligible for coverage.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tWaves will cover the cost of glass replacement if a window or\nwindshield breaks as a direct result of impact with our equipment,\nprovided the customer does not have applicable glass insurance\ncoverage. Waves does not cover glass breakage resulting from\npre-existing cracks, chips, or other prior damage, or from thermal\nshock.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Moldings<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tMoldings with pre-existing looseness or prior damage are not eligible\nfor coverage. For vehicles eight (8) or more model years old, Waves\nwill cover the cost of the replacement part only; labor costs are the\ncustomer’s responsibility.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tMirrors with visible prior damage \u2014 including damaged clips or marks\non the mirror cover \u2014 are not eligible for coverage, as these indicate\nthe mirror was previously compromised. Where no signs of prior\ndamage exist, Waves will cover the cost of mirror replacement. For\nvehicles eight (8) or more model years old, Waves will cover the cost\nof the replacement part only; labor costs are the customer’s\nresponsibility.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tWaves will cover the cost of any tire punctured during the wash\nprocess, except where the damage was caused by the customer\nturning the wheel excessively or driving over the car wash conveyor.\nWaves does not cover valve stem damage when the valve stem is\nprotruding beyond the normal tire profile, as this presents a\npre-existing risk.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t

Rims<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Tunnel Collisions<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tWaves is not responsible for vehicle-to-vehicle collisions in the wash\ntunnel caused by driver error, including: applying the brakes during\nthe wash, failing to place the vehicle in neutral, or engaging the\nparking brake or auto-hold function. Waves is also not responsible for\ndamage caused by a customer driving faster than the conveyor speed\nwhile failing to maintain neutral gear. Waves accepts responsibility\nonly for collisions caused by a vehicle stopped on the conveyor track\ndue to an equipment failure.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Aftermarket Accessories<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tWaves does not cover damage to aftermarket accessories, nor\ndamage to the vehicle caused by the presence of an aftermarket\naccessory. Responsibility for such damage rests with the customer.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t

General Policy<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAll damage claims must be reported within four (4) hours of the\ncompleted wash. Claims reported after this window will not be eligible\nfor review. Where a repair requires a body shop or mechanic, Waves\nreserves the right to select a reputable third-party repair facility within\nthree (3) miles of the Waves Car Wash location, or to perform the\nrepair on-site. Waves may use OEM (dealer) or quality third-party\nreplacement parts at its discretion.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
